First off i want to talk about one of my least favourite exercises… RUNNING. So the music for my running exercises are one the most important aspects in my workout. It is totally different from being at the gym or in the center and having alot of people around you that keeps you motivated. Even if you are on treadmill, you are still in “your own world”. So i want to keep my focus in my running music, and feel that meditative state that you can get into when you are listening to music, we have all been there and i know you can feel that. The music i use in my training MUST be i n sync with my body, i need to sense every part of my body to feel that tingling spark. I want to try out something with you, just take this moment and listen to a song that you love. Just close your eyes and totally feel the music. When you have finished listening to that song take a minute and answer these questions.
- What did you feel, how did that song affect you emotions?
- What did see? Were you doing anything special?
- Did you feel a taste, or for example a smell?
Why am i asking you this? Well everything we do mentally affects us physically to. Training and music goes hand in hand. Instead of having the music just affecting your emotions why not let your mind control it instead with the help of the music? What i mean is next time you want to associate a song or track with your training MAKE your mind think of the outcome, see that you are lifting weights to the max, see yourself running miles and miles, and over exaggerate. First of all you need to take action. You need to decide if you want to stay healthy and fit. I am not here to give you the secrets of the ultimate workout. We all think and act in different ways, im here to give you one method that helped me along the way. Training with the right music is the key here. We all have different taste so you need to find out what suits best for you. My main keypoints here are

What type of music is YOUR favorite
If you go to the gym today you hear some kind of techno crap playing over and over again. Im not saying that i don´t like techno, i actually love at that is what i listen to the most when im training. But usually the gyms play some kind of mainstream music that im not in to. And thats what im saying, we all have different type of taste in music. So pick the music you are familiar to, so you feel secure when you hit the gym.
Variety, music and training is different for everyone
But even though you for example don´t like rock, you can still get some pumping action. It´s the tempo that decides how fast and slow your workout will be. My training consist of low tempo tracks in the beginning, and in the end of the training with high tempo tracks. I finish off with a low tempo, maybe mellow song. Why? Because after a good training session your body isn´t just exausted physically but also mentally. This is why when you have finished training just sit and relax and listen to a soft and easy song.
- Organize your playlist. Next time you go to the gym, think about the music that is already playing.
Do you think that is the music that will give it your top workout and discipline?
Maybe, Maybe not. If you already are listening to your own music, then i think it is important to try to atleast organize them into the right tempo and mode.

Take a couple of minutes and think about this. Listen to the music, and se yourself listening to the music and imagining how it could benefit your workout. It can´t be said enough that music affects us in so many ways. The music in training can change your motivation and becoming more successful. I will post later on which type of method i use to get my maximum training with the music i listen to.

Take a minute a think about how one song can affect your training. Music training will help your training and how to reach your peak with the help of music. At every gym you go to nowadays, has some kind of music that will motivate your training.
